Amherst County Public Schools will operate via remote instruction tomorrow, Thursday, January 20, 2022. Staff should report at their assigned times, and students are not to report to their buildings.
All students will participate in remote instruction per the schedule provided by their school.
Meals will be available at any Amherst County Public School from 10 am - 12pm.
Amherst County Public Schools is aware of the Governor’s Executive Order related to existing mask mandates, and the Amherst County Public School Board is scheduled to meet and determine any changes to our mitigation strategies on January 27, 2022. All families and students are reminded that current mitigation measures, including required mask wearing, remain in effect pending a decision by the school board on January 27, 2022.
