Amherst County Public Schools welcomes all new a returning students for the upcoming school year.  Below you will find several resources that make the enrollment and registration process more efficient.

  • New Student Registration

    If you are enrolling a new student into Amherst County Public School, click the icon above to be forwarded to the online enrollment system for student brand new to Amherst County Public Schools.  If you are a returning student please use the Parent Portal to access the returning student registration forms.  If you need assistance in having your password reset or creating a new account, please contact your students school.
  • Back to School Registration Forms

    Amherst County Public Schools has made available the enrollment forms for the upcoming school year. Parents/Guardians have the opportunity to complete the forms online instead of completing them manually through the ECollect Forms service. The process is very simple and should be a time saver for everyone involved.
  • We are currently accepting Smart Start Preschool applications for the 2024-2025 school year.

  • HPV Letter from the VDOE

    The 2007 General Assembly passed legislation that requires sixth grade girls to receive the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine series. The law also requires the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) to provide parents/guardians of rising sixth-graders with information about the vaccine. In 2011, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) made an additional recommendation that boys of the same age routinely receive HPV vaccine.

    La Asamblea General de 2007 aprobó una legislación que exige que las niñas de sexto grado reciban el ciclo de vacunas contra el Virus de Papiloma Humano (VPH). La ley también exige que el Departamento de Salud de Virginia (VDH) proporcione a los padres/tutores legales de los estudiantes entrantes al sexto grado información sobre la vacuna.
