RECORDS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Amherst County Public Schools are committed to maintaining the  preservation of permanent records and the timely destruction of nonpermanent records as mandated in the Virginia Public Records Act (VPRA), Code of Virginia § 42.1-76–§ 42.1-91.   All division employees (including part-time and per diem) are expected to become familiar with the below Records Management Regulations and Records Management Manual to ensure compliance is maintained in the creation, back up, preservation and storing of all record formats (paper, electronic, social media, etc.).
