Additionally, there are three alternate lessons that are available to be reviewed. In order to provide further clarification, Amherst County Public Schools wanted to share the following information to parents regarding the Secondary Equity Lessons:
- Grading- Equity Lessons will not be graded.
- Alternative Assignments- If parents choose to seek an alternative assignment for their student, they may contact their school’s principal.
- Opt Out- If parents choose to have their students’ opt out of the lesson, they may do so by contacting their school’s principal.
